Cells 1. Compare and contrast human organ
systems with those of other species. Understand similarities or differences
between human and animal anatomy. Students will compare human body
systems to frog (Frog Dissection) Students use detailed drawings to
demonstrate similarities and differences. organs 2. Prepare and examine microscope
slides of single-celled and multi-celled
organisms. Students will prepare both wet and dry
mount slides. Observe microorganisms collected from
the environment and compare to plants and other multicelled
samples. Students construct dry, wet, and
stained mounts of various cells. Students draw and label different
cells as seen under microscope. Students are assessed on microscope
parts and proper use as well as how to prepare various
