Students will participate in a class discussion about main idea after listening to an informational texts.

1. Students will be able to write short reports after reading age appropriate non-fiction books, information on the Internet, CD's, etc.

 

1. After reading informational book the students will record at least 5 pieces of new information and will write or give an oral report using all 5 pieces of information including a beginning and ending sentence. .
