1. Solve and justify solutions to real life problems involving the measurement of time, length, perimeter, weight, temperature and volume.

Demonstrate mastery of using the following tools to the identified level. time - telling and reading time to the nearest hour, half hour and quarter hour.
length - measure to the nearest half inch, also use feet, yards and cm weight - ozs. and lbs.
temperature - F

volume - pints, cups, quarts and gallons

Container units; block units; Perfect People.

Students make paper plate clocks to use to practice showing times.
