1. Use concepts of chance and record outcomes of simple events.	Prediction and Probability Likely Unlikely Probable Always Sometimes Never Chance Record information Tallies Graphs			Students will make spinners with divisions showing colors or numbers and stopping point. They will spin and then record where it stopped 10 times. Discuss probability factors. Resources: Math By All Means Probability Gr. 1-2 by Bonnie Tank Roll a die data sheet, Houghton Mifflin 1995, p.42 101 worksheet Students will roll a die 20 times and record the results. This information will be used to make a class graph to discuss.	Given a bag of objects, the student will draw an object from the bag and record what it was. the student will repeat this 20 times. Then he/she will write what they think is in the bag and estimate the number of each color. Note The bag should contain 5-9 objects. There can be multiples of the same colored object.
