1. Use numerals and symbols (>, <, =, +, -) to report numerical data and relationships.

Write,draw or describe numbers or symbols that represent a number sentence or mathematical idea

Students will practice buying objects in the room. They will draw their problem and a write a number sentence that reports the purchase.

Given a list of objects and a certain amount of money, students will list objects they can buy and how much they cost. They will tell how many objects they can buy and what they can not buy using numerical sentence.
