Turning points:

  • Spread of Christianity
  • Beginning of the Olympic Games

Continuing influence:

  • entertainment

Students will select a turning point in an ancient culture and identify what influenced that event.

Given turning points in Greek history, students will demonstrate how the turning point continues to influence modern society.
