1. Identify goods and services, giving examples.

Goods and services provided in Bath.

The students will watch filmstrips and visit websites which discuss the differences between goods and services.
They will go on a field trip to a grocery store, City Hall, fire department, hospital, etc., and identify the differences between goods and services.
They will brainstorm all the different kinds of businesses and community services in Bath and decide whether they offer goods or services.

The students will make a T-chart on which they classify at least 3 goods and 3 services which are provided in the Bath area.
