B.S. degree in English. Minor in history and French from the University of Maine at Presque Isle.
Taught at Durham Elementary, Oak Hill High School, Wells Junior High School, and Bath Middle School for the last 19 years.
Hobbies: camping, hiking, kayaking & snowshoeing.
I teach at the middle school level because it's exciting, unpredictable and rewarding. The students are still impressionable, full of life, and open to learning and questioning. I enjoy their sense of humor and their candidness as well as seeing the sparkle in their eyes when they
get a correct answer or an A on a paper. Teaching middle school children is not just a job, it is a privilege!
