Bath City Hall

We found about lots of things that happen in Bath's City Hall. The people who work there were very nice to us. They showed us their offices and told us what they did.

This is where Mrs. White is looking up a girl's birth certificate.

This is the licensing room of City Hall. Here the lady is showing us the new license plate.

This is the Treasurer's Room, where you get license plates. They keep money in there. There are fishing licenses there too.

 

For those of you who are big and small. These cards tell the rules of City Hall and the law.

These are the codes and planning rules. These papers tell the rules for building things in Bath.

This is the room where they pay the people who work for the city.

These are gifts from Shariki, Japan to Bath. The people from Shariki saved people from Bath after their ship sank. Bath and Shariki have an exchange program.

This is in John D. Bubier's office. He is a City Manager.

This is the manager's office. On his desk he has a frog. This is when John Bubier is showing us his little frog. He is talking about his frog.



This is the Conference room where there's a GIANT map of Bath.

This is a Oval Table.

This is the Conference Room were they meet every week to talk about stuff.

 

 

 

This is the Council Chambers of City Hall. This where the Chairman of the City Council, the Manager and the Secretary sit.

This is where we are pretending to be
people in the Council Chambers.

A classmate is the Chairman of the City Council.

Mr. Bubier is pretending to be a citizen and is telling up what he thinks the city should do about a problem.

Our classmates in the chairs are pretending to be citizens who are listening to the problem.
