About Fifth Grade

I hope that fifth grade will be an exciting year for your child! We do many special learning activities culminating with a Living History Museum Project. Each fifth grader will be a famous person in the museum and have the opportunity to create a slideshow about themselves. You will be invited to visit the museum in May. Other projects include designing and selling Christmas pins, assuming the role of a pioneer traveling on the Oregon Trail and keeping a diary of daily experiences, and solving challenging word problems. We are also fortunate to have World Language. Your child has French three times weekly with Mrs. James. As you can see, we have a very busy year ahead!
