Band begins in the fifth grade. Early this fall a couple of representatives from Eastern Music will come to our school for a demonstration. This helps give students an idea about what types of instruments they might be interested in playing.

On another night these representatives come back and talk with parents about the possibility of renting or purchasing a band instrument.

We are fortunate to have two excellent instructors,Mr. Aines and Mrs. Kenison who come each week to give lessons. Before the end of the year, the students are able to be part of a band and really have something to show for their efforts.

Please look for the band information which will be coming home in just a few weeks.
