Monsters

They go around and scare people

Even on the church steeple

They eat gooey mush

They look green and lush

If they come near me

I will flee!

When it seems they keep saying boo!

You could be killed too

After he is dead to you

He does not know that it is true.

"I hate these bills I'm paying

Sneaking up behind you in the night

It always really gives me a fright!

Coming to earth from far away

They are not here to play

They are all green

Sometimes they are mean

If they come to take over

Blue eyes like the sky

Some are black and some are white

Big black spiders on a post

If he is steaming

I'll start screaming

If he is with a mouse

I'll run in the house

If I see him around kids play

I'll tell them to run away
