Our Last Trip to the Maine Maritime Museum

A lady gave us little kits and we glued them together to make boats. Two girls in my class are gluing their boats together. They are called model boats. They were suppose to be lobster boats but they were really fishing boats. Everybody made a nice boat. |

One girl is gluing her boat and the other is putting on a piece. They are putting their boats together. We had trays so that if we dropped the paintbrush the paint and glue would not get on the table. |

There was a lot of gluing and painting going on. A boy in our class is making his lobster boat. He is thinking about how he will put the boat together. The boy is gluing and will paint next. |

At school we made water out of paper. We called the paper the Kennebec River. The waves are really big and rough. |

Our model boats are floating on the paper Kennebec River. We finished our boats and we had a lot of fun making them. After we finished taking pictures of the boats, we took them home. |
