March Trip to the Maine Maritime Museum

We heard about a ship at Popham Beach that was trying to to to a place to sell salt. They ran into a storm and crashed on the rocks. Twenty-four people were on board and they all drowned, except a dog. The basket is from the ship.

The x-ray of a human hand shows the bones inside. It also shows a ring on a finger.

It looks sort of like a hand, but it is a whale's fin.
